The Wat Khao Sanam Chai is easily reached from the main city of Hua Hin. You can easily book a taxi for Wat Khao Sanam Chai from Phet Kasem road. The entrance of the temple can be found right on the main highway no.4 which runs north-south, west of Hua Hin’s most popular main road.

Due to its elevation, the temple can be spotted from miles away. You can see the red flags swinging at full speed because of the wind that blows at that height. Although there is no English signage, you can spot the temple with the help of these red flags.

If you are on a bike, you can go all the way up. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own bike, you can rent one from various bike rentals in Hua Hin. Alternatively, if you are coming on a public transport or don’t want to go up on a vehicle, you can walk uphill, enjoying the pleasant view.

The entrance is slightly steep as the temple sits on a high ridge. It is partially hidden between nurseries and plant shops on the beachside along the main road. Below you can see the coast line of Hua Hin and the hills of the countryside.
