What do you need to shop here?

Since duty-free shopping is only for tourists, you will have to prove that you are a traveler. So, you must carry your passport as well as your return ticket as a voucher for the same. You can buy goods at the store after the passport control at Phuket International Airport. After purchasing the goods, you can arrange to collect them at the airport from the King Power collection counter before boarding your flight at your convenience.

At present, the store is focusing more on direct online sales. It is encouraging the employees to hand out codes that allow customers to purchase duty-free items without taking an international flight. As part of their SV Team Challenge campaign, SV codes were given out to all employees in order for them to provide customers with exclusive discounts.

With the tremendous response that it received, it has shifted to the e-commerce business and now encourages customers to shop at its stores outside airports.

Pro-Tip: Packaging of Duty-Free items takes a reasonable amount of time therefore it is important that you finish your shopping well in advance, at least 8 hours before your scheduled departure.
